Storage: store at 2~30°C. Shelf life: 24 months. Reagents and devices must be used at room temperature (15~30°C). The unsealed cassette is valid for 1 hour. It is recommended to use the testing kit immediately after opening. The expiration date is printed on the package.

1. How does the assay work?

This kit uses colloidal gold immunochromatography to qualitatively detect the nucleoprotein of the COVID-19 components in nasal swabs.

2. Will this test hurt?

The nasal swab may cause mild discomfort. To get an accurate test result, it is important to take the nasal swab as directed in the Test Procedure section. The discomfort can be increased if the swab is inserted beyond the recommended depth. If you feel severe pain, you should stop taking the sample.

3. What is the difffference between COVID-19 molecule, antigen and antibody test?

They are the three main forms of testing for COVID-19, and they are very difffferent. Molecular tests (also known as PCR tests) show the genetic table material of the COVID-19. Antigen testing can detect the structural proteins of COVID-19, which can directly prove the existence of COVID-19. Our kit is an antigen test. Antibody Tests show antibodies that the immune system in your body is responding to a previous COVID-19 infection. For the acute diagnosis of COVID-19, antigen tests are better than antibody tests.

4. If my test result is positive, what does it mean?

A positive test result means nucleoprotein from the virus that causes COVID-19 have been found in your swab sample. It is likely that you will need to self-isolate at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Please also observe the corresponding rules for spread control and contact your doctor or the local health department immediately. In this case it is recommended to have the result confifirmed with an alternative test method such as a PCR test.

5. What does it mean if I have a negative result?

A negative test result means you are unlikely to be time of testing COVID-19. The test has no antigens in your swab specimen detected, but it is possible that your test will give a false negative. False negative test results can result from multiple.

Factors caused are:

• The amount of antigen in the swab sample can decrease over the duration of the infection.

• The test can be negative before you develop symptoms.

• Other reasons as given in the limitations section.
